Wine is endlessly interesting, many doors into the same room. It is that utility of connection which has kept me in the industry for so long. The thing people notice about me first is my joy. I am joyful on bad days, good days, hard days, and days when someone is actively trying to make me smaller. I cannot dim it. It's not a performance. It's just who I am.

I'm a Filipino woman wine director. I've made it to rooms I wasn't supposed to be in, and I have so much more to share.

For 13 years, I have worked in some of the most decorated restaurants in the country with Grand Awards, James Beard Awards, and Michelin Stars. I currently run the wine program of a private club in NYC.
